Psalm 93: Who is Thirsty?

“I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.”  Rev. 2 1:6b

 Our Everlasting Lord! His Majesty
1     The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty...
the LORD is clothed, He is armed with strength.
The world is firmly established. it cannot be moved.

2     Your throne is established from old...
           You are from everlasting.

3     The floods have lifted you up, O LORD...
the floods have lifted up their voice.  The seas lift up their waves.

4     The Lord on High is mightier than the thunder of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea—
the LORD on high is mighty.

5     Your testimonies are sure and firm...
holiness adorns your house for endless days, O LORD.

From Everlasting to Everlasting
Jesus Christ—thy throne O Lord is forever and ever!
If He was not the everlasting God—we could not so devotedly love Him!
We could not know that we have any share in eternal love—equally with the Father, we can share in His divine love from himself to the Father, and the Holy Spirit.

He lives to make intercession for us
Jesus is superior as our high priest because of His perfect purity and the supreme sacrifice of Himself (Hebrews 7:26-28). His grace and prayers are what keeps us and gives us the perseverance to keep going. “He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” The Holy Spirit dwelling in us supplies us with everything spiritual—we can go to him with any need. He is always ready and waiting for us to come.

Living water we draw from His sacred well!
Jesus always was… He always is… and always shall be.
Jesus Christ blesses all who believe with the rivers of living water of His Holy Spirit.
We are cleansed by His Blood which will never loose its power.  He is eternal in all His attributes—willing to bless, comfort, guard, and crown His people.

“The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth,
does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is He served by human hands,
as though He needed anything...  since He Himself gives to all life

and breath, and all things”  (Acts 17:24-25).
